His experience has led him to lecture and teach on various legal topics. Through the years, he has served as an elected Councilman for seven years and has represented an assortment of New Jersey municipalities in various capacities, including prosecutor, municipal public defender, rent leveling board attorney, and parking authority attorney. He was also chairman of the Westwood Planning Board and a member of the Westwood Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Education
Attorney Berkoben holds a Bachelor of Science Arts and Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University. A member of the New Jersey Bar since 1984, he opened his private practice in 1986.
